UI Findings
Landing page:
- Incorrect headline. The correct headline should be “Fast Business Loans with Flexible Terms to Meet Your Needs”
- Global navigation menu at the top should not be present. It should have just the logo and phone numbers
- The staging URL does not show anything below the hero section
Short Form:
- In step 1, help text “You can use the slider or type in the amount that works best for you” is missing
- Label in step 6 says “What’s your email address?” instead of “What’s your name?”
- Category names in mobile devices are missing
- The display icon for the “General Information” category is incorrect. Please refer to the Figma for the correct icon
- On mobile device (iPhone 14), the short form “when did you start your business?” step, UI does not match the approved Figma design. The text fields should be one below the other.
Long form:
- In mobile devices, the icons in the category section goes beyond the grey area
- On mobile devices, when loan ownership is less than 100% and the co-borrower flow is triggered, the Financing Details category name is not visible
- In the “What’s your business’s website?” section, the checkbox text incorrectly states “Please enter a valid URL”. It should say “Don’t have business website”.
Functionality
Short form:
- Name field allows numbers, special characters and leading spaces
- Validation of phone number is missing. It is currently accepting invalid phone numbers such as (000) 000-0000
- “When did you start your business?” allows future dates
- In Step 10, the help text “You’ll need to have your recent bank statements ready for the full application” is displayed for both dropdown selections. This statement should appear only for the option “Submit and continue to full application”. For the option “Submit an inquiry”, the help text should be “Our team will contact you to guide you through the next steps”
- In Step 10, when user selects the CONTINUE TO Full application, user is unable to see hcaptcha. User should be able to see hcaptcha and submit the short form irrespective of the option he selects.
- When the user selects “Submit an inquiry”, no Thank You or confirmation message is displayed.
Long form:
- In step 1 of the long form, the user should not be able to navigate back to the short form.
- The City field allows numeric input, and the Zip Code field accepts invalid values such as all zeros (00000).
- The Date of Birth field allows selection of future dates
- The file upload component allows unsupported file types such as .docx and .xlsx
- Name fields allow numbers and restricted special characters, which does not comply with the defined text field validation rules and may result in invalid personal information being stored.
